We very much hope that as a result of viewing our website you will want to visit our School and we aim to help you at every step of the Admissions Process:-
Attending an Open Day is a great way to find out about Chinthurst. You will have the opportunity to look around Chinthurst Preparatory with your son or daughter and to meet staff and other prospective parents on an informal basis. One of our pupils will give you a guided tour and you will have the opportunity to meet the Headteacher and speak about their respective School. A number of activities will be on show to give you an idea of the broad education your child/children will receive.
An Individual Meeting:
You may wish to arrange an individual visit to Chinthurst at your convenience. You will be met by a member of Admissions and given a guided tour and you will have the opportunity to meet with the Headmaster to discuss your child's future. To book an individual visit, please contact our Admissions Secretary and she will be pleased to answer any questions you may have. Please also mention if there is a particular area of interest your child may have so we can make your visit more tailored for you.
If at the end of some of these visits you are confident that Chinthurst is the place for your child, we ask you to register as early as possible. Some of our Year-groups are nearly at their maximum capacity and it saves rushing at the end or indeed being disappointed. Registration Forms are available after your visit.
We offer all prospective pupils a 'taster day' with their Year group. This is an excellent opportunity for your child to experience a day at Chinthurst. It helps settle your child and manage any anticipation they might have. Your child will register at 8.30am and stay until after lunch. Basic Maths and English tests are undertaken for streaming abilities once they join their Year group.
To contact the school or arrange a tour of the School, please contact the Admissions Secretary by telephone on 01737 812011 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
