Years 3 - 4
All pupils in the Junior Forms study the following subjects: English, Mathematics, Science, French, History, Geography, Religious Studies, Art, Design Technology, ICT, Drama, Music, Physical Education, Games.
In Year 3, the majority of the academic curriculum is taught by the Form Teacher, with a gradual increase in the number of specialist teachers from Year 4. In Year 4, pupils are taught in their Form classes for all subjects except for creative subjects, which are taught by specialist teachers.
Years 5 - 6
As children move into Year 5 and 6 they are learning to be more responsible, disciplined and self-motivated. In Year 5 pupils are still taught by their Form Teacher for some subjects but do have a wider input from a greater range of teachers. Subjects are taught more by specialist teachers and the children move around the school to take lessons in rooms dedicated to particular subjects.
